Clean room, very spacious with plenty of storage - mind-blowing! The balcony was a super touch for enjoyable evenings. The host, Barbara, is an absolute gem - incredibly helpful and full of amazing tips about the city - jaw-dropping! The simple yet perfect breakfast offered a variety of fresh fruits, yogurt, granola, and tasty eggs if desired - super delicious! The shared bathroom was never an issue, always available when needed - such a relief! Special mention to the adorable local cat, Melissa, who was always seeking attention in the garden - a delightful bonus!

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely pousada in the heart of Rio. The staff were helpful and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed relaxing on the small terrace with a view of the city. The location was great, close to Lapa and Centro, and we felt safe even though it may not seem so. One of the highlights was taking a walk on the famous Escadalaria Selaron. we highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Rio.

Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The location was perfect for me, nestled in a calm area away from the hustle and bustle. And finally, the breakfast spread was delicious - I especially loved the homemade yogurt. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. They are always willing to assist with directions and recommendations. the breakfast served here is delicious and filling. the rooms are also quite spacious, providing ample room to move around and store luggage.
The lack of air conditioning in the rooms can be problematic, especially during the warm and humid months. the kitchen is not very well-equipped, making it difficult to prepare anything beyond simple meals.

We had an incredible stay at this hidden gem situated on a hill, in a small road unknown to the cabs, but it is worth the 'trek', as it is close to the harbour, all the sights; The Gloria subway station. Our room had an awesome view of the city, very comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. the staff treated us like family, giving us recommendations every morning during our nice breakfast, which included fresh fruits, granola, yogurt. the common areas were beautifully decorated, and had a relaxing vibe, great for hanging out.
The only downside that we found was the noise from the party district Lapa on weekend nights; however, the hotel managed to offer rooms that are not affected by the noise.

Had a great time in this cozy place. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they even prepared a tasty breakfast with fresh local ingredients each morning. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially during sunsets. The location was also convenient, just a short walk away from some of the popular tourist spots and a few minutes from a charming town center.
Safety was a concern during our stay. The surrounding area didn't feel very safe, especially at night, and we had to be extra cautious while walking around the neighborhood.

The house had a lovely view of the sea from the sun terrace, and the homely atmosphere made me feel right at home. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and the free Wi-Fi was a nice touch.
Who needs a soccer field nearby when you have noise from Flamengo Beach just 400 meters away? Fun times trying to get some shut-eye!
